Welcome to Coolaroo
Founded in 1987, Coolaroo and their clients celebrate 23 years of focussed Alpaca breeding, training, education and fun.
Their next workshop 24 July 2010 looks into fleeces required by the end market user, and from this angle, looking at how they present shorn fleeces to the manufacturer, as well as to a fleece judge. Participants will examine Coolaroo's breeding progamme and how to take your own animals forward to fast growing wools that exhibit 'true' high density levels with advanced attributes of lustre, alignment and extreme softness, hand in hand with animals exhibiting excellence in structure & bone, conformational balance for good function, and fertility.
Testimony to commitment to excellence, Coolaroo's latest arrivals are both National Australian Supreme Champions, Windsong Valley Iceman and Regal House Mr. Darcy.
Established by a combination of sheep breeding families the stud is run by Janie Hicks, ably assisted by Neil Parker.
